About two kilometres from the Sneekermeer lake and the Goingarijpsterpoelen, about 5 kilometres from the Langweerderwielen and the Koevordermeer, right on the Prinses Margrietkanaal. Without lowering the mast, you can sail/sail towards these many lakes and canals.
